Death
HICKORY FLAT, Dec. 7—Mrs. Nora Whiteside Furr, 66, widow of the late Henry O. Furr of this place died at the home of a son, Guss Furr, Memphis, after a very brief illness. Mrs. Furr was a member of an old and prominent family, which has resided in this sect!on for over a half century. She was a devout member of the Methodist church. Her body was shipped here for burial, the funeral services having been conducted by her pastor, the Rev. George H. Ledbetter at the old family church, Ebenezer. Burial was made in the Ebenezer cemetery. Surviving are three sons, Robert Furr, Hickory Fiat; Caleb Furr, Pontotoc; Guss Furr, Memphis; and six daughters, Mrs. Lula Williams. Mrs. Effle Tuttle, Memphis; and Mrs. Hester Wilder, Belden; Mrs. Leone Wilder, New Albany.
