Death
Mr. Jimmie Roger Furr, 57, of 3332 Zelda Ln., Matthews, died April 30, 1993, at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral is 2 p.m. Monday at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, where he was a charter member. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at McEwen Funeral Home, Mint Hill chapel. Mr. Furr, a Stanly County native, was owner and operator of F&F Warehouse and a choir member at his church. He was an Eckerd Drugs employee for more than 27 years. Survivors are his wife, Velma; son, Mike Furr; daughter, Mrs. Kim Hughes of Harrisburg; brothers, Boyd Furr of Albemarle, John Furr of Locust, David Furr of Richfield.
