Death

Mrs. Pearl Furr Partlow, 40, wife of Benjamin Darwin Partlow of Annafrel Street, died about 3 o'clock this morning at St. Philip’s hospital after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 3:30 p. m. from Park Methodist church by Rev. W. W. Pendleton, pastor, assisted by Dr. T. L. Willingham, pastor of Park Baptist church and the Rev. J. Walter Johnson, pastor of West Main Street Methodist church. Interment will be in Laurelwood cemetery. Mrs. Partlow had lived in Rock Hill all her life. She was the daughter of Mrs. Katharine Irene Furr and the late Charles Furr. A member of Park Methodist church, she took an active part in religious affairs. Mrs. Partlow had many friends both in this city and in other sections, and her passing will be deeply, felt by them. She is survived by her husband, her mother, and the following children: Harry Partlow, Harvey Partlow, and Bobbie Jean Partlow. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister: J. H. Furr, Sr., Melvin Furr, both of Rock Hill; and Mrs. Mildred Stevenson, of Fort Mill.
