Death
Harold Thomas Furr Of Indian Trail Mr. Furr, 78, passed away on November 24, 2017. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail Chapel. Harold was born on August 23, 1939 in Concord to the late Matthew and Laura Furr. He was also predeceased by, daughter Debra Renee Furr, brothers, Bill Gene, Earl and Terry Furr; sister Faye Harwood, Patsy Barrier and Agnas Furr. “Sack” worked for Conbraco Industries Inc and retired after 40+ years of service. He loved playing soft ball in his younger years, then later golfing. He dedicated his life to his family and spending time with them. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Judy Taylor Furr; children Tamara Furr Altman (David), Erica Sustar Bridges (Mike), John Erick Sustar and Julie Layne Furr; siblings Jack Furr, Levon Furr (Terry), Lorene Easley and Jerry Furr (Maxine); grandchildren Kendall Porter (Chris), Trey Altman (Morgan), Ashley Altman, Heather and Alex Bridges; great-grandchildren, Paisley Altman and Laikyn Porter; and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Metrolina Association for the Blind www.mabnc.org or First Baptist Church of Indian Trail.
