Death

Claude Furr, brother of C. W. Furr of Amarillo, died last night in Plainview following a long illness. He was 42 years old and was engaged in the grocery business in Plainview. A native of North Carolina, he had spent most of his life in Texas. He was reared at McKinney. Before moving to Plainview he made his home at Kirkland for a number of years. Besides his brother here, he is survived by his wife and a daughter, Nova Jean Furr. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o’clock from the First Methodist Church in Plainview.
