Death
QUANAH, Sept. 22. — W. Furr, widely-known West Texas merchant, died in a Quanah hospital today. He had operated a store in Kirkland, Childress County, for more than 20 years. In recent years his health had been poor. Last night his condition became critical and he was rushed to Quanah for hospitalization. Funeral services were arranged for tomorrow afternoon at Kirkland. Survivors included his wife; one daughter; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Furr of Kirkland; two sisters, Mrs. T. N. Fielder of Iowa Park and Mrs. Ray Dick of Lubbock, and four brothers, W. H.
