Death
Gene Boydston, 87, of Lubbock died on January 16, 2011. She was born on July 5, 1923 in Iowa Park, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Claude Furr. She graduated from Plainview High School and Lippert's Business College of Plainview. She married Jack Boydston in October of 1946. She retired from Plains National Bank and was a co-owner of Pioneer Fence Company with her husband Jack. She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Sanders and her husband Bob; grandchildren, Derrick and Shawn Robinson, Tiffany Brazinna, T. J and Robbie Sanders; great-grandchildren, Brennah and Aubrey Robinson and Gianna Brazinna. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. A graveside service at Resthaven Memorial Park will be at 2:30 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service following at 3 p.m. in Resthaven's Mausoleum Chapel.Published in the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, January 19, 2011
