TULSA — Vester Furr, 87, of Tulsa died Monday, June 23, 2003. He was born July 28, 1915, in Fort Smith. He was a retired printer for the Tulsa Tribune and the Oil and Gas Journal, and a volunteer for Hillcrest Hospital for 13 years.Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Tulsa Bible Church with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ninde Garden Chapel of Tulsa.
He is survived by a son, Jim of Tulsa; and a sister, Hestel Reed of Van Buren.
