Death
Hestel Furr Reed, 95, of Van Buren died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, in her home. She was a former owner of Reed Realty and a member of Harvest Time Tabernacle. She loved gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence M. Reed. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. She is survived by two daughters, Melba Clay Boren and Priscilla L. Hughes, both of Van Buren; one grandchild, Trenton Bruce Spangler of Van Buren; and three great-grandchildren, Breeana V., Jordan Tess and Olivia Elaine Spangler, all of Van Buren. Pallbearers will be Vic Benefield, Marty Sloan, Malcolm Travis, Billy John Page, Jimmie Deer, Ross Blythe. Honorary pallbearer will be Eddie Wilson.Endnotes
