Death
Lester F. Furr, 87 of Little Rock, formerly of Fort Smith, died Sunday, August 7, 1994 in a Little Rock hospital. He spent 25 years working with R.J. Reynolds Co. before founding Southern Wholesale in Fort Smith. He was a member of First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ, a Shriner and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was survived by his wife: Jane Hinson Furr; a sister, Hestel Reed of Fort Smith; and a brother, Vester Furr of Tulsa. Funeral services were held in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith.Military
