Death
Jane Hinson Furr, 89 of Little Rock died Tuesday, June 24, 1997 in a Little Rock hospital. She was a retired teacher of Fort Smith Public Schools, a member of First Christian Church, Church Women United, P.E.O. Chapter "J", Booneville House Association and Delta Delta Delta Alumini and on the Fort Smith Library Board. She was survived by a sister-in-law, Hestel Reed of Fort Smith; a Brother-in-law, Vester Furr of Tulsa; a niece and nephew, Dr. and Mrs. Clyde Glover of Little Rock; four sisters, Delilah Stafford and Goldia Phelps, both of Booneville, Mirtia McAlister of San Jose, Cal, and Lilian Buffington of Blue Mountain; three grancdhildren; six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Graveside at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith.Endnotes
