Death
KANNAPOLIS — Mrs. Grace Furr Eddleman, 69, of 703 Eddleman Road died Tuesday night at 10:20 at her home. She had been in declining health for a number of years. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. at Center Grove Lutheran Church. The Rev. Charles Easley, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the home at 4:30 today, and will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Born in Cabarrus County July 6, 1893, she was the daughter of Mrs. Florence I. Furr of Kannapolis and the late James A. Furr. She was an active member of Center Grove Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, W. Frank Eddleman; two sons, Frank and Alton Eddleman, both of Kannapolis; two daughters, Mrs. T. C. Litaker Jr. and Mrs. Frank May, both of Kannapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Sechler of Kannapolis, Mrs. W. W. Sloop of Charlotte, and Mrs. Paul Chandler of Concord; one brother, Brevard Furr of Salisbury; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.The Salisbury Post, Salisbury, North Carolina, January 30, 1963
