Death
CONCORD, Nov. 6 — After an illness of only four days of acute pneumonia, Glenn Ira Furr, 27, died early this morning at his home here. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home. A native of Georgeville, Mr. Furr had resided in Concord for the last 15 or 20 years, being engaged as a painter. Surviving relatives include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Furr; three brothers, D. L. Brooks and Eugene Furr, all of Concord: and four sisters, Mrs. A. H. Baker of Concord, Mrs. Callie Herrin and Mrs. O. T. Johnson of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. W. C. Threatt, of Pensacola, Fla.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, November 7, 1935
