Death
Mrs. Beulah F. Hunter, 95, of Charlotte, died Wednesday, December 18, 2002. There will be a funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday, December 21, 2002 at Philadelphia Presbyterian Church with Dr. James M. Cockerham officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Burial Park in Mint Hill. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel. Mrs. Hunter was born May 21, 1907 in Midland, NC, daughter of the late Martin and Lillie Kiser Furr. She was a member of the Philadelphia Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Hunter is survived by her son, Mac Flowe and his wife, Glenda, of Charlotte; daughters, Betty Wentz and her husband, Bill, of Charlotte, and Jean Rogers and her husband, Fred, of Charlotte; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and sisters, Jule Mullis of Indian Trail, and Ruby Cox of Concord. Along with her parents, Beulah was preceded in death by her husbands, Ira D. Flowe, A.D. Harkey and Bill Hunter; her son, William; and her brother, Carl Furr. The family would like to thank the staff of Lawyers Glen for their care. Memorials may be made to the Philadelphia Presbyterian Church.
