Death
Albert Luther Furr, 59-year-old ice company employe (sic), died late Thursday as he was walking one block from his home, 524 N. Boston ave. Attendants at Mercy hospital pronounced Mr. Furr dead upon arrival. Death was caused by a heart attack. Survivors include the widow, Belle, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Velma Collins, 524 S. 28th W. ave., and six sons, Glenn and J. R. Furr, both of the home, Lynn Furr, northeast of Tulsa, Doyle Furr, 4924 E. Haskell pl., Rupert Furr, 536 S. 39th W. ave., and Leon Furr, 3120 N. Kenosha ave.; a sister, May Roberts, Dover, Ark. and two brothers, Ira Furr, Dover, and Levi Furr, Richmond, Calif. Funeral arrangements are pending with the Whisenhunt-Winterringer funeral home.Tulsa World, Tulsa, Oklahoma, October 21, 1949
