Death
Funeral services for the Rev. Rubert Furr, longtime Tulsa minister and evangelist, will be Wednesday at Christchurch. Furr died Sunday. Furr, who was 67, established Christchurch, an interdenominational organization, in 1982. Furr pastored for 37 years in the Methodist church and had statewide radio programs and a broadcast that reached 80 West Indies countries. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday under the direction of the Heath-Griffith Funeral Service.Tulsa World, Tulsa, Oklahoma, March 30, 1993
