At the residence of her son, Moses Furr, in No. 9, Mrs. Sophia Furr, wife of the late Daniel Furr, aged 83 years, four months and ten days. Burial
On Sophia's tombstone is the inscription:"Dear Mother thou hast left us
Here thy loss we deeply feel
But 'tis God that hast bereft us
He can all our sorrows heal."
