Death
RICHFIELD — Mrs. B. B. Furr, 79, of Route 1, Richfield, died at her home about 9 o'clock Saturday morning. Death was unexpected. The former Maggie House, she was born in Stanly County on January 13, 1881, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David House. Survivors include her husband, Beachem Furr of the home; five sons, C. C. Furr of Albemarle, George Furr of Concord, Walter Furr of Route 3, Albemarle, Albert Furr of Albemarle, and John Furr of High Point; one sister, Mrs. John Almond of Route 2, Albemarle; and 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Furr was a member of Mt. Tabor Methodist Church where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. by the Rev. E. F. Kale and the Rev. Earl Cook. Burial will be in the church cemetery.The Salisbury Post, Salisbury, North Carolina, December 3, 1961
