Death
ALBEMARLE — Mrs. Sarah Jane Bullock, 74, of Rt 1, New London, died early today at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3 o’clock in the Prospect Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert W. Morrow. Burial will be in the church cemetery and the body will be moved to the home at 3 o'clock today and placed in the church 30 minutes prior to final rites. Mrs. Bullock was born February 23, 1899, in Stanly County, daughter of the late Marshall and Laura Morton Furr. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church She is survived by seven sons, Crayton B. Bullock of Charlotte, Hazel B., Robert L. and Lenn Bullock, all of Albemarle, and Roy N., Joel and Ned B. Bullock, all of New London; four daughters, Mrs. Hugh Morris and Mrs. Ellen Thompson of Albemarle, Mrs. Robert Hinson of New London and Mrs. K. Z. Thompson of Winston-Salem; and two brothers, Roy and Brian Furr of Newton, four half-brothers, James Furr of Richfield, Claude, Jack and Tommie Furr, all of Albemarle; and four half-sisters, Mrs. Earl Howard, Mrs. Olen Morris, Mrs. Thurlo Burleson and Mrs. 0.
