Death
ALBEMARLE — Mrs. Fred T. Russell 71, of Rt. 2, Norwood, died at 1 p.m. Monday following a long illness. The former Miss Pallie Furr, she was a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Mabon Kimrey of Rt. 1, Norwood; Steve Russell of Rt. 1, Norwood and Frederick Russell of Morganton; one daughter, Mrs. Bobby Belk of Charlotte; a stepson, Clifford Russell of Albemarle, a step-daughter, Mrs. Pat Poplin of Norwood; three borthers (sic), P. A. Furr and A. A. Furr of Albemarle, and Bryan Furr of Newton; and a number of half-sisters and half-brothers, Mrs. Sarah Bullock, Mrs. Ruth Morris, Mrs. Myrtle Howard, Mrs. Pauline Burleson and Mrs. Helen Brown of Albemarle, and James Claude, Jack and Tommy Furr, all of Richfield. Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at Silver Springs Baptist Church.The Salisbury Post, Salisbury, North Carolina, October 11, 1966
