Death
Mrs. George A. Sharpling, 60, of 7114 Ryan Drive, is the latest casualty of the Veterans’ Day weekend. She died Monday night in a Smithville hospital of injuries received Sunday in a wreck near there. Mrs. Sharpling is survived by her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Harreston and Mrs. Clyde Coker, both of Brookhaven, Miss.; and two brothers, Henry Furr and Parson Furr, both of Brookhaven, Miss. The body is at Wilke-Clay Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.Austin American-Statesman, Austin, Texas, November 12, 1957
