Death
PICAYUNE — Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at New Palestine Baptist Church in Picayune for Ernest “E.B.’’ Brady Furr, 76, of Picayune, who died Feb. 2, 1990, at his residence. Dr. David Briscoe and Dr. Thomas J. Delaughter will officiate. Interment will be in New Palestine Cemetery. Mr. Furr, a native of Picayune, was a retired carpenter and a member of New Palestine Church, where he served as church secretary and deacon. He was a member of the Picayune Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Mary Pearl Smith Furr of Picayune; three daughters, Annette F. Fleming, Margaret F. Smith and Faye F. Landrum, all of Picayune; two sons, Claude Furr and Wayne Furr. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today at McDonald Funeral Home and one-half hour prior to service time at the church.Endnotes
