Death
Funeral services for Orange Clifton Furr, 78, of Picayune will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, in the Estes chapel of the First Baptist Church of Picayune. The Rev. Raymon Leake will officiate at the service. Mr. Furr died Saturday, Aug. 1, in NorthShore Medical Center in Slidell, La. Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. A native of Picayune, Mr. Furr was a carpenter and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Grace W. Furr; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Mabie and Miss Barbara Furr, both of Picayune; a brother, Ernest Furr of Picayune; and two grandchildren and four -great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at McDonald Funeral Home.The Picayune Item, Picayune, Mississippi, August 2, 1987
