Death
Ollie Furr, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Furr, of New London, route 1, died Sunday afternoon after an illness of one week with colitis. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at Bear Creek church and interment was made in the cemetery there. Rev. F. E. Huneycutt was the officiating minister. Besides his parents, the child is survived by eight brothers and sisters.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, February 27, 1934
