Death
Mrs. Will Lena Wright, 82, of 550 Houston Ave. died Tuesday morning at Hinds General Hospital. Services are 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday. She was a native of Wesson and attended Copiah-Lincoln Agricultural High School. A resident of Jackson for two years, she was a former resident of Forest City, Ark. She was a member of Capitol Street United Methodist Church. Before her retirement several years ago, she was manager of the Busy Bee Clothing store in Tunica. She s survived by her son, Dr. William E. Wright of Camp Hill, Pa.; sisters, Mrs. Nell Bates and Mrs. Margaret Lee, both of Jackson; brothers, Carl R. Furr and William H. Furr, both of Jackson, and Lester Furr of Wesson; and five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, July 4, 1984
