Death
Mrs. Lynelle F. Bates of 3018 Forest Dr. died May 9, 1986, in Hinds General Hospital. Services are 11 a.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home chapel with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Bates had lived in Jackson for 40 years and was a member of the Oak Forest Baptist Church. She retired as secretary for the Mississippi Military District after 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney H. Bates, and son, Ronnie Bates. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Thomas Lee of Jackson; brothers, Carl R. Furr and W.H. Furr, both of Jackson, and Lester R. Furr of Wesson; and several nieces and nephews.Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, May 10, 1986
