Death
Funeral services will be held today at noon at Meadow Creek church in Stanley county for Wilson C. Furr, 69, prominent farmer, who died Friday at his home in Pineville township after an illness of one year. Burial will be in the church graveyard. Surviving are his wife and four children, Miss Maye Furr of Pineville township, Mrs. R. E. Polk and S. I. Furr of Charlotte and A. L. Furr. Fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, November 16, 1930
