Mrs. Curry was born March 29, 1918, in Files, Hill County, Texas, the daughter of Lottie Pearl (Hartson) and Monroe Curtis Kirkpatrick. She passed away, July 12, 2009, in a local hospital. Mrs. Curry was a homemaker and a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved by her family and they were blessed to have had her for so many hears. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She was an artist and enjoyed oil painting. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Diboll.Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and James McClintock of Corrigan. Brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Ave Kirkpatrick of Corpus Christi, Texas. Grandson, Steven McClintock of Corrigan, Texas. Granddaughter, Jeannie Flowers and husband, Rodney of Diboll. Great-grandchildren, Tish Reeves, Leena Reeves, Kaylee McClintock and Tanner Ray Flowers. Special friend, Michaele McClintock of Galveston and a number of other family members and friends. Mrs. Curry was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Melvin Curry, on Sept. 23, 1999; two sisters, Kathleen Freeman and Marion Love.
