Slick pavement was blamed for an auto accident which took the life of a Kerrville man near Campbellton about 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Dead from a broken neck was Monroe Curtis Kirkpatrick, 64, of Kerrville. He was killed when the car in which he was riding skidded on a curve on US Hwy 281 and rolled over once. Driver of the car was listed as his son, Roger Kirkpatrick, also of Kerrville.
