Posted at findagrave.com: Services for Lawrence Curry, 84, of Diboll, were held Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999 in the Gipson-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Curry was born Fe. 25, 1915, in Port Aransas to the late John B. and Virginia (Bullard) Curry and he died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999 in a Lufkin hospital. He was a self-employed craftsman and boat builder. He resided in Corpus Christi most of his life but had resided in Diboll for the past six years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Corpus Christi. Survivors: Wife, Virginia Curry of Diboll. Daughter and husband, Charlotte and James McClintoch of Diboll. Grandson and wife, Steven and Michele McClintoch of Diboll. Granddaughter, Jeannie McClintoch of Lufkin. Great-granddaughters, Tish, Lena and Kaylee McClintoch of Diboll.
