Kirkpatrick, 67, of Arlington Heights, died Tuesday in Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, after a brief illness. He was born in Sesser, Ill., and had resided in Arlington Heights for the last two years. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a retired engineer for Illinois Bell Telephone Co., with more than 35 years of service. He was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Visitation is today from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 2901 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Community Church of Rolling Meadows, 2720 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadow. Officiating will be the Rev. James L. Kragness. Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Palatine. Surviving are his widow, Angela, nee Parisi; three daughters, Mrs. Sharon (Joe) Lucente of Elk Grove Village, Colleen and Kimberly, both at home; a son, Verner. at home; five sisters and two brothers.
