William Kirkpatrick, 84, Sesser, was found dead on a street near the Catholic Church in Sesser Sunday night. Franklin County Coroner Barney Browning was to conduct an inquest at the Brayfield Funeral home in Sesser today. He was a retired farmer. He leaves sons Roy of McLeansboro; Vern of Chicago; and Dwight of Peoria, daughters Mrs. Lenora Clampet of Sesser, Mrs. Lillian Patterson of Peoria, Mrs. Vesper Notling of Naperville, Mrs. Ina Ranalli of New Orleans, La., and Audrey Kirkpatrick of Jefferson, Wis.; 22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Christian Church at Sesser. The Rev. McKinley Crabtree, pastor of the church will officiate and burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brayfield Funeral Home in Sesser.
