Funeral services will be held Sunday for William Kirkpatrick, 77, Sesser service station owner and retired carpenter. He died at his home Thursday,at 10 p.m. of a heart attack. Kirkpatrick leaves his wife Bessie, sons Ivan, Virgil and William, all of Sesser, daughters Mrs. Ethel Johnson and Mrs. Ida Winemiller of Sesser and Mrs. Verda Graham of Chicago heights, brother C. H. Kirkpatrick, Herrin auto dealer, sister Mrs. Ida Jones of Mulkeytown; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the Horse Prairie Baptist Church north of Sesser. The Rev. John Maulding of McLeansboro will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Hugh Moore, Pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Brayfield Funeral Home, Sesser.
