Frankfort Area Genealogical Society provided a local newspaper's obituary on: Ida Mildred Winemiller, 79, died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, June 30*, 1996 in the Skilled Care Unit of Franklin Hospital in Benton. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Brayfield Funeral Home with the Revs. Harl Ray Lewis and Michael Glasco officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Winemiller was born on June 12, 1917 in Sesser, the daughter of William F. and Cora (Davis) Kirkpatrick. She married Lawrence Winemiller on Jan. 16, 1937 in Whittington. He died Oct. 14, 1982. She was a homemaker and member of the Hazel Dell Free Will Baptist church and the Rebecca Lodge. Survivors include one daughter, and son-in-law Shirley A. and Louis D. Zumberac of Sesser; one son, Jack L. Winemiller of Sesser; one brother, William A. Kirkpatrick of Sesser; one sister, Ethel Hodder of Fort Pierce, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, four brothers and one sister also preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to the Hospice at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon and will be accepted at the funeral home.
