New London---Dallas Hobert* Kirkpatrick passed away at his home in Lowell at 10:15 Saturday morning after an extended illness. He was the son of Thomas H. Kirkpatrick and Laura May McGavack and was born at Minden, Nebraska. On August 18, 1912, he was united in marriage at New London to Edith Hand. The early part of his life was spent in Nebraska and during the past 40 years he had lived in the New London and Lowell vicinity. Surviving are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Velma Bugg, Lowell; two sons, Max and Dale Kirkpatrick, Burlington; one brother, Arley [Arlie] Kirkpatrick, Lowell; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Delph, Issaqah, Washington; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the McDonald funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. G. E. Thomas, pastor of the Baptist church at Lowell, conducted the services. Alex Porteous, accompanied by Mrs. F. M. McCleary, sang "In the Garden" and "the Old Rugged Cross." Pallbearers were Ted Detrick, Port Crossley, Albert Hartman, Harold Breum, Bennie and George Kirkpatrick. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery. *Hobart
