Arlie Kirkpatrick, 81, of New London died Wednesday morning November 8, at Park Manor Nursing Home in Burlington, where he had been a patient two and a half months. Arlie Addison Kirkpatrick, the son of Tom and Laura (McGavick) Kirkpatrick, was born at Minden, Nebraska, February 1, 1885. He was married to Sarah Irene Miller, who preceded him in death January 9, 1912. He then married Rocksie Woodson, who preceded him January 30, 1948. On December 17, 1949 he was married at Lowell to Inez A. Hart, who survives him.
He was a member of the Lowell Baptist Church and I. O. O. F. of New London. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marie Kordonowi of St. Louis, Mo., one grandchild. A sister and a brother are deceased. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 11, at the Elliott Chapel in New London. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Mt. Pleasant. Friends may call at the Elliott Chapel Thursday afternoon and evening.
