Obituary from The Rockford Republic, Rockford, Illinois, December 30, 1913: Death of Mrs. Servatius. Death Results from Convulsions Caused by Terrible Pain from Rheumatism. For ten years Mrs. Anna M. Servatius of 501 Lincoln Avenue has been a sufferer from Rheumatism and this is supposed to have been the cause of a convulsion yesterday. Hemorrhage of the brain resulted in death a 3 o'clock. Mrs. Servatius came to this country from Germany thirty-nine years ago and for twenty-eight years has been a resident of Rockford. She was sixty-three years of age and four children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Servatius: Frank Servatius, a soldier in the Philippines, Joseph, living in Montana, and Fred living at home. The husband also survives. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock , Rev. Thomas Barney Thompson officiating.
