Edward Weaver Kirkpatrick

Edward Weaver Kirkpatrick, usually called Weaver, was born at Hamilton, Hancock Co., Illinois on 12 January 1893, and died 29 January 1963 at Pineville, Rapides Co., Louisiana. He married first, Ruth Villa Young on 15 August 1917 at Pueblo, Pueblo Co., Colorado. She was the daughter of James Leroy and Mary Roxanna (Gordon) Young. Ruth was born 19 March 1894 at Johnson, Nemaha Co., Nebraska, and died 15 May 1922 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa. After Ruth's death, Edward married again, this time to Virginia Lorene Elder, daughter of Samuel and Virginia Agnes (Dixon) Elder. The wedding took place on 6 February 1924 at Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa. Virginia was born at Harrisburg, Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania, on 28 March 1900.
