Thomas Franklin Kirkpatrick

Thomas Franklin Kirkpatrick, usually called Frank, was born 6 December 1887, at Hamilton, Illinois, and died 6 May 1946 at Keokuk, Iowa. He married 1905 in Tecumseh, Nebraska, to Nellie Frances Ege, a daughter of Stephen and Fannie R. (Carlisle) Ege, who was born 1 March 1889 at Duff, Nebraska and died 25 November 1963 at Keokuk, Iowa. Nellie was the sister of Anna Ege who married Thomas' brother Charles.
There were six (6) children born of the marriage.
On the 1930 U. S. Census of Montrose, Lee Co., Iowa, T. Franklin Kirkpatrick appears with his wife Nellie and children Gladys, Mildred, T. Frank, Hila and William. Mr. Kirkpatrick runs a theater.

Keokuk---Thomas Franklin Kirkpatrick, 59, 711 Exchange street, died in St. Joseph hospital after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at DeJong's Funeral home with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. He is survived by his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Goldie Cochenour, Mrs. Gladys Mardis, Mrs. Mildred South, and Miss Hila Kirkpatrick, all of Keokuk; six grandchildren; four brothers; and five sisters, including Mrs. Rena Heston, and Mrs. Carrie Donnelly.
