Ida Sarah Arnold was born 3 March 1867 in Fort Madison, Lee County, Iowa and died 10 March 1934. She married on 2 February 1893 to Edward Fielding Wayland, who was born 20 September 1867 and died 21 May 1932. They lived mostly in Fort Madison, but spent some time in the 1890's in Oklahoma.
There were two (2) children born of the marriage.

Lee Wayland, Saturday afternoon, March 10 at 3:05 o'clock after an illness of seven weeks. Ida S. Arnold was born march 3, 1867, at Fort Madison, and spent the greater part of her life here. She was the daughter of Granville Lewis and Susan Jane Arnold. On February 2, 1893 she was married to Edward F. Wayland at Kahoka, Mo., and to this union one daughter and one son were born. She was preceded in death by Mr. Wayland, May 21, 1932. Surviving Mrs. Wayland are her daughter, Mrs. Fleta M. Siegrist of Niota, Ill., and one son, G. Lee Wayland of this city, five grandchildren, Helen Lee Griffith, Robert Wayland, Walter, Martha and Jerry Wayland Siegrist, two brothers, W. A. and G. L. Arnold of this city, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wayland was a kind and loving wife and mother, and was loved by everyone who knew her. The body will be at the home of her son, G. Lee Wayland, 706 1/2 Avenue F until time for the funeral services, which will be held at the Clements chapel at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The services will be conducted by Rev. C. E. Francisco of the First Christian church, of which Mrs. Wayland was a member. Burial will be made in Oakland cemetery.
