William Henry Kirk, a community leader in East Harlem, N. Y., who helped integrate the neighborhood both socially and economically, has died. He was 92. The Rev. Kirk lived in Hamden and on Isle au Haut, Maine. He died Friday. The Rev. Kirk was the executive director of the Union Settlement from 1949 until 1971. He helped build the settlement into an organization with 16 sites in East Harlem, offering many services.
