Eugene Cleaveland Kirkpatrick

Eugene was born 13 April 1855 in Wisconsin. This son of William M. and Mary (Winfrey) Kirkpatrick married Nancy Emma Nolen, daughter of John and Lucenty Nolen, at Pulaski, in Iowa County, Wisconsin, 25 December 1875. Eugene was apparently living at Montfort, Wisconsin, at the time of his first marriage. His second wife was Emma Elizabeth Fleming, whom he married 6 October 1912. She was born 1 January 1883 and died 19 December 1952. Eugene died 21 July 1939 and is buried in the Kirkpatrick Cemetery in Rewey, Wisconsin.
There were eight children born of the first marriage and three children born of the second marriage.
On the 1910 U. S. Census of Avoca, Iowa Co., Wisconsin, Eugene Kirkpatrick appears with his wife Emma and sons Clarence and Kenneth. Eugene and Emma have been married 33 years. Emma is the mother of 8, 6 of whom are currently living. Eugene is a horse dealer and Clarence is a laborer at odd jobs.
