The Tribune, San Luis Obispo, California 13 Oct. 2002: Muriel "Kirk" Elizabeth Page, 77 of Morro Bay died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002, after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Morro Bay. Mrs. Page was born Dec. 5, 1924, in Spring Green, Wis., to Eugene Cleavland and Emma Elizabeth Kirkpatrick. For 23 years she was a dedicated member of the Dorn's Original Breakers family. She was an avid sports fanatic who enjoyed the adventurous things in life, such as bungee jumping, deep sea fishing and riding roller coasters. She was also known as a wine connoisseur. But her favorite times were spent with her grand children and great-grand children. Kirk was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was known for her loving heart, generous spirit and kind soul. Her charm and wit will be missed by all. Kirk will be dearly missed [by] her brother Kirk Kirkpatrick; and sister Nora Kirkpatrick-Gunderson; daughter-in-law Betsey Prater; grandchildren, Marc and Laurie Page and Tami Henderson; and great-grandchildren, Marlee Marie, Bailee Niquole, Savannah Rae, and Aleksa Elizabeth Page; and her extended family Dan, Nancy, Lori, Larry, Jennifer, Chris and Brandy. She was preceded in death by her children, Kirk Joseph, Michelle Rae and Christopher Eugene.
