The Kentucky Post, Covington, Kentucky, Monday, May 6, 1991: Mary Pilyer Carpenter, 61, of Florence, died at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Hospital West. She was a retired saleswoman and past president of the Boone County Democratic Women's Club. She was a member of Florence Christian Church and the Yearlings. Survivors include daughters, Debbie Wood of Florence and Karen Cutebirth of Park Hills; and brothers, Denver Pilyer Jr. of Lexington, Marvin P. Garrett of Pensacola, Fla., and Jerry Pilyer of Florence. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Visitation will be there from 5 to 9 tonight. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Lexington.
