Fairbank, Ia.---June 23-Special: Miss Matilda Neumann of Fairbank and George Hultz of Littleton were united in marriage Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock in St. John's Lutheran church in Fairbank. Rev. F. W. Bruch officiating. The single ring service was used. Miss June Hultz, sister of the groom, and Fred Neumann, brother of the bride, were the attendants. Miss Clara Lebmkuhl played the wedding march. The bride wore a pink silk dress with long white veil and carried a shower bouquet. Miss Hultz wore a chocolate color dress. Preceding the ceremony a wedding supper was served in the home of the bride to relatives and friends and the bridal party. The bride was born and grew to young womanhood near Fairbank. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August* Neumann.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gustave [Gustav] Newman, she was born Nov. 26, 1910, at Fairbanks, Iowa. She had lived here for two years and was employed at the Jefferson County Hospital.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward Thompson, Jesup, Iowa, and Mrs. Daniel Mast, Tripoli, Iowa; three sons, Clarence and Marshall, of Riverside, Calif., and Brian, at home; her mother, Mrs. Ida Newman, Jefferson; three sisters, Mrs. Marshall Kraft, Fairbanks, Mrs. William Reisner, Oelwein, Iowa, and Mrs. Harold Hake, Lake Mills; four brothers, Emil Newman, Waterloo, Iowa, Albert and Fred Newman, Oelwein, and Walter Newman, LaPorte, Iowa. She was preceded in death by a daughter, and by a brother killed in France in 1944.
Friends may call at the Minshall Funeral Home here after noon Tuesday. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The body will be taken Wednesday to the Parker and Son Funeral Home, Jesup, and services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Grace Lutheran Church there. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery at Fairbanks.
