Emporia Gazette, Emporia, Kansas, Wednesday, August 5, 1964, Page 6, Col. 3: Mrs. Sidney R. Timbrook, 427 State St., a resident of Emporia since 1912, died this morning in Newman Memorial County Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel, conducted by the Rev. James O. Leftingwell, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Braymer, Mo. Gertrude May Seitter, daughter of Jacob and Sarah Seitter, was born Dec. 18th, 1869, in Plymouth, Mo., and she was married to Sidney M. Timbrook May 24th, 1888, in Plymouth. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Kensington Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died March 3rd, 1948, by one daughter, who died in infancy, and by one son, Lawrence V. Timbrook, who died July 14th 1962. She is survived by one son, Virgil S., of 1305 West Sixth Ave.; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. L. V. Timbrook, 427 Neosho St.; one sister, Laura Rudolph, Ludlow, Mo.; two granddaughters, Mrs. Lawrence Sauder, 1212 Frontier Way, and Mrs. J. D. Miller, Nickerson, and four great grandchildren.
