On U. S. Census of 1920 for Carroll Co., Missouri Sarah Seitter is a widow living with her son Joseph and his family.
Chillicothe Constitution Tribune, Monday, January 18, 1937, Page 2, Col. 9: Sarah B. Seitter, daughter of William and Nancy Hosier, was born April 1, 1848 and died January 11, 1937. She was married to Jacob Seitter, March 18, 1867, and to this union six children were born, Franklin Seitter, the oldest, who died in infancy; Gertrude Timbrook, Emporia, Kansas; Fanny Price, Avalon, Mo.; Lillie Griffith, Fresno, Calif.; Joseph Seitter, P:lumouth, Mo.; Laura Rudolph, Ludlow, Mo. There were seven grandchildren and four-great grandchildren. Her husband, Jacob Seitter, preceded her in death July 2, 1906. In the spring of 1867, she came to Missouri to make her home with her husband one mile north of Plymouth, where she has always lived. She was the only one left of the Hosier family. She joined the M. E. church at Plymouth, Mo., when quite young. She was true to her Master, and went peacefully to sleep with Jesus. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church at Plymouth, January 15, 1937 at 2 o'clock by Rev. Ralph H. Hicks of Braymer, Mo.

Griffith, 3216 Illinois Avenue, is visiting with relatives who are seriously ill in Ludlow, Mo., where she was called two weeks ago when her mother, Mrs. Sarah Seitter, became critically ill. Mrs. Seitter died while her daughter was enroute to Missouri.
