Obituary from the Chillicothe Constitution Tribune, June 10, 1943: Mrs. Fannie Price Died This Morning. The death of Mrs. Fannie B. Price of Avalon occurred at the Chillicothe Hospital this morning at 8:30 o'clock. Her body was taken to the Norman Funeral Home where it will remain until time for the funeral rites at the Avalon Methodist church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Olive Fay is to conduct services after which burial will take place at the Avalon cemetery. Mrs. Price was the daughter of Jacob and Sara Belle Seitter, being born December 2, 1872 in Carroll County, one mile north of Plymouth . She was married to Charles Price, October 17, [unable to read year] to which union one son Russell, was born. Both husband and son preceded her in death. Three sisters and one bother survive Mrs. Price: Mrs. Gertrude Timbrook of Emporia, Kansas; Mrs. Lillie Griffiths, Fresno, California; Mrs. Laura Rudolph, Ludlow; Joseph Seitter, North Kansas City. At an early age Mrs. Price was taken into the membership of the Plymouth Methodist Church. After her marriage she joined the the Methodist church at Avalon. Mrs. Price led an active life in that community until just a few years when she had been in poor health.
