Obituary from The Nevada Daily Mail, Monday April 2, 1934, Page 1: A. L. Hosier Passed Away Saturday Night Funeral Monday Afternoon.
Funeral services for Abraham L. Hosier, who died Saturday night, were held at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Hays Service Rooms, and were conducted by the Rev. H. U. Campbell, pastor of Centenary Methodist church. During the services a quartet composed of Karl Huhn, D. R. McGiboney, H. H. Marmaduke, and W. R. Jordan sang two hymns," Meet Me There" and "Home of the Soul." Miss Madge Potter played the piano accompaniment. After the service the body was taken by Allen V. Hays to Lowry City for burial. Mr. Hosier died at 11 o'clock Saturday night at his home on North Ash street. His death occurred after a long illness. Mr. Hosier was 51 years old and was a native of Illinois.
It is unknown why Charles appears as husband to Lena. The place of birth of Charles' parents is the same as Abraham's. Occupation of piano tuner is the link of Charles to Abraham.
It maybe that Abe used Charles as his name at one point in his life and also took 20 years off his age because of his marriage to a much younger woman. More information is needed, such as wife or siblings' obituaries, which may show information on Abraham.
