Corpus Christi Caller-Times, Corpus Christi, Texas, May 8, 1990, Page 90: Alta Agnes "Faye" Windle, 84, died Sunday, May 6, 1990, in a local hospital following a long illness. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the PEO and was a Registered Nurse. She was the widow of the late Bill Windle. She had formerly lived in Joplin, Missouri and had moved to Corpus Christi in 1938. She is survived by two sons, James P. "Phil" Windle of Corpus Christi, and William R. "Bill" "Sonny" of Viena, Virginia; one sister, Mary Dean Storch; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 1990, at the First United Methodist Church Chapel, with Dr. Mark A. Doty officiating. Burial will follow in the Seaside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Lukemia Foundation or a favorite charity.
